The Federal Court of Appeal (FCA) has once again suits against Academic Staff Union of University to 6th Feb, 2023.

In last year 2022, the Federal government dragged ASUU before the National Industrial Court (NIC) but the Union failed to put an end to the strike.

Although the (NICN) rule the case for the favor of the Federal Government and ordered the lecturers to resume work, but the lecturers lead counsel, Femi Falana, SAN, had filed a 14-ground legal appeal before the court.

On Sunday the reports that the Federal government had also-filed as a suit challenging the failed of ASUU to summit audience report to the Federal Government.

Olajide Oshundu the ministry labour spokesman, who spoke our mind earlier on the issue held on November 2022, even now the case was also before the court.

Though the have called off its strike based on appeal court ruling, the Sunday report that the appellate court would rule based on whether the union will retain the strike, the Federal Government said that no work no payment.
