The supreme court has dismissed PDP suit’s against disqualification of Bola Tinubu and Kashim Shettima as the presidential and vice-presidential candidates of the (APC) All Progressive Congress.
The five-member panel of the supreme court held on Friday That the people Democracy Party (PDP) has no locus standi to suits.
The panel also said that the PDP is not a members of APC.
Even the people Democracy Party (PDP) had as demand that Shettima’d as nominate as Bola Tinubu running-mate was gap of the provisions of section 29(1) 33,35 and 84(1)(2) of the electoral act, 2022.
Because the opposition party debated that Shettima’s nomination to contest for two position which was vice-presidential candidates and Borno central senatorial position, at the same time – that failed to obligated the law.
