The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) have deny the rumors that spread out that they have authorize them to start deposit banks and collect the old N1000, N500 Nairanotes from their customers.
The Apex bank have clear the one matter issue from one of their statement says by CBN director of cooperate communication, Rosita Nwanisobi issue on Friday, 17th April.
Osita Nwanisobi say that the publics wouldn’t listen to the information.
He added for what Mr President Muhammadu Buhari message on 16th February, the only thing that the CBN authorized to reissue and also recirculate the old N200 banknotes and they are expected to circulate as legal tender for 60days.
