Former Senator Andy Uba, Senator that representing Anambra South Senatorial Constituency and All Progressive Congress (APC) governorship candidacy in Anambra state, he was announced arrested and detained by the Nigeria Police Force in Abuja.
But, according to Sahara reporters, Andy Uba got arrested on Wednesday, April 26 by the Inspector General of Police (IGP) investigator units, though the cause of his arrest still unknown.
Andy Uba, senior special assistant to the past president Olusegun Obasanjo, has always prosper controversy.
He is either entangled in any political issues, business or personal conflict. Because the most recent entangled in which the former Anambra state governorship candidate was embroiled was over a N50 million debt he owed renowned businessman Arthur Eze, which resulted in the convulsion of some of his luxury cars when he denied to pay.
He supposedly pledge to monthly N1 million installment payment but disappointed to do so. When the matter was brought to court, he denied not received any loan from Eze.
But when contacted, the Force Public Relations Officer, CSP Muyiwa Adejobi, stated, “No report like that before him”.
