Nigeria Department of State Services (DSS) have sit for calm after America release security advisory that warn of high risk of terror attacks in Nigeria, specially in Abuja.
While advising, they said make the people take the necessary precautions DSS, let the people be an alert and assist the security agencies with useful information regarding threats and suspicious criminal act around them.
The State Service, said that they are working with others law enforcement agencies and stakeholders to maintain peace and order in and beyond Abuja.
DSS also said that they have receive several enquiries relating to the security advisory that US Embassy as landed in Abuja on Sunday 23 October, 2022 because they said is not a new thing as the service also an issue similar warnings in the past.
Meanwhile the US Embassy said on his speech advisory that they will offer reduced services until further notice but of the threat advise because terrorists may target government property, such as buildings, places of worship, schools, markets, shopping malls, hotels, bars, restaurants, athletic gatherings, transport terminals, law enforcement facilities and international organizations.
Their advisory actions people to energizer and to avoid all non-essential travel or movement and for people to review their personal security plans.
These is not the first time the US embassy have release security advisory.
On April, 2021, US embassy visit Lagos and release security alert for the people that stay in Nigeria for commercial capital.
On the statement, the US embassy said that they have notice numerous armed robbery especially In Ikoyi and VI areas in the city as they advise people to be clever and be wise.
